Question 1

Can I fix my CV for free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. FixerCV's free analysis gives you an ATS score (0–100), your top 3 CV mistakes, missing keywords, and a recruiter's first impression — all free, no sign-up required. The full rewrite and optimized CV requires a one-time payment of $9.99.

Question 2

How do I fix my CV to pass ATS systems?

Accepted Answer

To fix your CV for ATS: use a single-column layout, include exact keywords from the job description, use standard section headers (Work Experience, Education, Skills), avoid tables and images, and save as PDF or DOCX. FixerCV does all of this automatically — upload your CV and the job description and get a fully ATS-optimized version in 60 seconds.

Question 3

What is a CV fixer and how does it work?

Accepted Answer

A CV fixer analyzes your CV against a specific job description, shows what's holding it back, and rewrites it so recruiters searching for the job's keywords can find it and see your results quickly. FixerCV uses Claude AI to score your CV, find missing keywords, and generate a fully rewritten version tailored to the exact role you're applying for.

Question 4

Why do I keep getting rejected despite being qualified?

Accepted Answer

Usually because recruiters never find your CV, or can't see the match in a quick scan. The most common reasons: missing keywords from the job description, formatting that breaks ATS parsing (columns, tables, images), generic bullets with no metrics, and a personal statement that isn't tailored to the role. FixerCV checks for all of these and shows you what to fix.

Question 5

How long does it take to fix a resume?

Accepted Answer

The free analysis takes about 30 seconds: ATS score, top issues, missing keywords and a sample rewritten bullet. If you unlock the Full Fix ($9.99), your fully rewritten CV (to copy or download as Word or PDF), cover letter and LinkedIn profile are ready about 30 seconds later.

Question 6

What ATS systems does FixerCV optimize for?

Accepted Answer

FixerCV optimizes for all major ATS platforms: Workday, Taleo, Greenhouse, Lever, SAP SuccessFactors, and iCIMS — covering 90%+ of enterprise hiring systems used by FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 companies.

Question 7

Is FixerCV free or paid?

Accepted Answer

The Full Fix ($9.99 one-time) gives you the complete rewritten CV, cover letter, and LinkedIn optimization. The CV Builder PRO ($19.99 lifetime or $12.99/month) gives you access to all 8 professional templates and AI tools in the builder.

Accepted Answer

FixerCV supports UK, UAE, Germany, USA, and 70+ other countries. Each region has different CV conventions — UK CVs don't include photos, UAE CVs do, German CVs (Lebenslauf) require specific formatting. The analysis adapts to your target country automatically.

Question 9

Is my CV data safe?

Accepted Answer

Question 10

How is FixerCV different from other CV tools?

Accepted Answer

Most CV tools give generic tips like 'use action verbs.' FixerCV analyzes your specific CV against a specific job description and delivers a fully rewritten CV, not suggestions. It's the difference between advice and execution — you get a complete CV in 60 seconds, ready to download as Word or PDF.
